CO2Sense is to work with partnership with YABA to hold their first sector specific Investment Forum. The Forum will focus on businesses in the green technologies sector that are seeking investment, providing investors with the chance to see up to ten emerging companies.
The Forum will hold an event, hosted by Pinsent Masons in Leeds, that will give businesses the opportunity to present to investors . “We’re really pleased to be able to work in partnership with CO2Sense in this way. For our investors, the forum provides an unrivalled opportunity to hear from some really innovative businesses that are embracing the sustainability agenda,” says YABA Manager Barbara Greaves.
With Yorkshire and the Humber rising to the challenge of addressing the issues associated with a low carbon economy, Richard O’Connell, Project Manager at CO2Sense Yorkshire, says that the forum will be hugely beneficial for companies that attend. He says: “The forum presents an exciting opportunity for businesses to receive the vital investment they need to prosper. We are hoping that some great partnerships can be forged to drive the region forward in a low carbon economy.”
