Emily’s role in the Customer Team is to run the Local Authorities Environmental Business Support Programme, which provides officers with a greater understanding of Resource Efficiency and Environmental Business Support organisations.  She has engaged officers from Sustainable Development, Economic Development, Recycling and Waste and others in the programme, and promotes closer working and joint projects.  She has developed and delivered training in environmental business support to Local Authorities across the region and is developing an Environmental Business Support website to support businesses in the region.

Emily worked for Leeds City Council for over 2 years in the Waste Management department.  The role covered both waste strategy and service delivery.
