Waste Exchange
The Why Waste Project has been running for over a decade to raise the profile of waste as a resource rather than a cost.
The web based resource encourages businesses to post waste materials that could be used by other businesses as a raw material, or alternatively request a material needed that is a waste stream from another business. No business is too small to benefit from the exchange.

This project delivered by environmental consultancy firm ECO3 provides businesses with up to six days free support to identify and implement opportunities to save carbon, resource and costs from helping design out waste from packaging and products.
