CO2Sense has been running a carbon trading simulation to help organisations prepare for CRC. This project recently finished and a report on the lessons learnt around the simulation is now available for you to read. Click here  

Due to the success of this project, we have decided to develop and run a second phase of Carbon Trading Yorkshire, which will be available to both public and private sector organisations in Yorkshire and the Humber.  The second phase of Carbon Trading Yorkshire, intends to support you by:

• Allowing you to learn with other organisations
• Helping you develop CRC compliance and management
• Helping you learn more about CRC within the capped phase
• Helping you develop auction strategies
• Helping you develop trading strategies
• Providing simulation of potential carbon prices within phase II
• Supporting organisations that may become involved carbon trading legislation in the future

The next phase of Carbon Trading Yorkshire will be delivered via a dedicated web based platform and will be launched in June 2010.
