The University of Huddersfield now offers a new and innovative course structure consisting of individual modules that can build into a Diploma in Professional Studies (Resource and Waste Management) with a progression route to a degree.
The selection of modules covers managerial, business development and technical aspects of resource and waste management, so specific individual or corporate needs can be addressed.
A unique aspect of the Diploma is the inclusion of a Personalised Learning and Professional Development module. The learner creates a portfolio including evidence of in-house and external training courses, attendance at conferences, exhibitions, seminars and site visits. The module will be supported by regular webinars and podcasts on topical issues. The real benefit of this module is the flexibility to personalise it to a specific job role or development need.
