Low carbon woodfuel makes sense. It offers a real alternative to heat from fossil fuels, can help organisations meet their carbon obligations and provides a secure local supply of fuel. And with the recent Government confirmation of the Renewbale Heat Incentive, using woodfuel will earn your organistion payments.

If you supply woodfuel, your business can apply for investment in projects such as

- Purchase of specialist processing equipment such as chippers, specialist delivery vehicles and woodfuel stores to help your business to set up or expand
- Feasibility studies, to see how your business could expand, and to help you make the right investment decisions
- Other projects within the woodfuel supply chain that helps to bring a strong supply of woodfuel to the region.

If your business wants to use woodfuel, you can apply for investment in projects such as:
- Conversion of your oil or coal boiler from using fossil fuels to woodfuel
- Purchasing new equipment, such as boilers and plumbing, to set up a new woodfuel system
- Feasibility studies, to see how your company could benefit from using woodfuel
- Other projects that use woodfuel as an alternative to fossil fuels.

Applying for funding couldn't be easier. Just follow these simple steps:

1. Download the funding information - here - this will give you a bit more information about the funding and what you can apply for.

2. Complete a short form - here - and email it to jan.phillips@co2sense.org.uk. This will then be looked at by one of our team, who will then let you know if you could qualify for investment.

If your project is right for investment, we'll then email you a longer application form, which needs to be submitted to CO2Sense by 9am, 28th April 2011.
